Guys w/ 2k or 2k1 Trans HELP!

I have a 1996 Maxima and I will soon be swapping in a 2000-01 transmission. Are there any problems I would have with ANY transmission, I know with the locking trans i need the LSD drivers side axle, but what about ABS - I see this in the posts on car parts.com and I dont know if this will cause me any trouble seeing as I dont have ABS.

Thanks for you help...again.

Chris

PS: Hows 47K with 90 day warantee for 750 shipped?

The trans should be the same. The axles would be different with abs. Are you putting in a VLSD? If not then you can use your your axles, your or the trannies mount, and also either speed sensor.

I don't believe a tranny has/doesn't have ABS.

5spd or auto?

Mine is a 2k1 auto....the only difference is the main wire harness that has different color wires. I throw a TC code..but no problems. I THOUGHT that 2k+ came standard w/ ABS........I may be wrong though. But that could be why I'm throwing a code

Yeah it's a 5spd, I just dont wanna throw any codes or anything because that would bug me. I am starting to get somewhere, i have a couple guys that have moved on their prices but then again, some people I have talked to are asking way too much money and not budging.

KRISMAX: Do you happen to have the name of that junkyard so I can give them a call?

PS: Is a 2000 w/ 47K on it w/ 90 day warantee for $750 about an average deal?
