ECU screw does not stop counterclockwise

The ECU screw (right next to accelerator) does not stop when I am turning it counterclockwise. It just keeps rotating. Is that normal or I messed it up?

Thanks

mine wont stop in either direction, it was like that since I got the car, I know I didnt do it, but just have to be careful when reseting, just count the number of time you turn it and turn that same amount back.

wish there was an inexpensive fix for it.
