hey guys i have a 99 SE ltd MAXIMA auto i want to purchase a exhaust from ebay and make a custom catback wiht a y pipe with that in mind i want something thats low but deep not ricey civic .like 350Z sound wiht only : muffler if not catback

 

ok... to start off... its better to title your threads according to your content so others looking for the same answer can find it easier...

i don't understand what you are looking for, you might want to preview your posts as well to help others reading it... i could barely decipher what you were talking about... civic, rice, 350z, y-pipe???

an ebay exhaust is probably not the way you want to go... there is an OBX exhaust i belive on there that some members have good things to say about it... there are also others who have bad things to say...

welcome to the world of opinions... you will have to decide on things on your own...

since you already have a y-pipe in mind, i'll leave you alone on that.

you can pretty much get any fart can/real muffler you want and get a custom pipe (resonated or un-resonated) made to fit your car for relatively cheap...

you could also by a full catback like i did...

for a custom exhaust, id recommend the dynomax super tubro muffler paired with a custom resonated b-pipe. i have a clone of it and it sound nice, deep, and not too loud at all... it will be PERFECT when i get my y-pipe or headers...

for a full exhaust, id recommend the new sp2 coming out for 97-99s... it is currently made for 95-96 which it will still bolt up to yours with the 02 bung on the b-pipe (why that is, idk...)

any 95-96 (minus the sp2) will have to be extended an inch given our bumpers are 1 inch longer than theirs...

If I understand correctly, I think you want an exhaust system that sounds simlar to that of the FX/G35/350Z low pitched hummm? That sounds sweet, I'd ask the same---? Any similar exhaust systems / mufflers that have that low-pitched sound?
