Good Muffler

I was looking at getting a muffler for my 95 maxima. I want something that isn't to loud and that I won't lose performance also. I was thinking about a flowmaster maybe a 50 series. Would I flowmaster be good or would I lose horsepower?

I like my dynomax superturbo with custom resonated (the important part) b-pipe. The stocker is resonated too, so if you just want to replace the muffler you could do that. It is slightly louder than stock, but not annoying. I think it sounds perfect. It's also cheap ($50), but you also have to have it put on since it's a universal.

if you have a compleatly stock exhaust and add just a straight through muffler then it will not be loud at all. Once you add a Y pipe it will be loud as heck and you will want a chaimbered muffler. If you change your exhaust keep a functioning cat and use a nice resonator it should be music to your ears.

I am gonna get hte Dynomax Super Turbo muffler too. I will have a huge resonator on the B-pipe to keep things nice and quiet. I have a y-pipe so I will need it.

The bigger the muffler the better. Make sure it's a oval design not a rice *** cannister.
