Yet again...

I got out of class at 8:00 tonight and only to find that they busted my window in, stole my tripple gauge pod w/ everything and made a huge mess of the car. They tried to steal the radio but that didnt work. Tried to rip out my clutch club but clearly that didnt work either. Without the fuel pump fuse the car wont be going anywhere. This is the second 98 maxima ive owned and all of them have been broken into. I hate people!!! I wish i had that pager alarm thing so i could have made it to the car when they were trying to rip it out and i think i would have busted their heads in with my baton.

either way they were determine to steal something so I'm sure they would have just tried to take something else. glad its just the tripple pod they took and not your car.

I wouldnt mod any car if I lived in NY, its a sad thing becaue you should be able to buy what ever you want, but NY, Queens, Bronx,Brooklyn just seems like if it looks nice, it will be gone its only a matter of time.

$hit, the R23 lights will finally be done this weekend being that we need to mold a new grill.

The radio doesnt have a removable face so i couldnt do that. Insurance will cover most of the money that i lost tonight.

here are the pics i just took...

Good thing i was able to save the weather stripping but now its a little too long.

Damn dude, that sucks, really sorry to hear it.

Just out of curiosity... the clutch club you're using, is it the AutoLock. Because if it worked, that's awesome and just paid for itself. Those $60 bucks seemed like a lot to me but the steering wheel club is garbage. And with the clutch locked, they can't start it.

Anyway, it could've been a heck of a lot worse, glad it seems to be superficial damage and the insurance has you covered.

yea it was the auto lock... i swear by them. When the last max was stolen i never put it on... found the car with it in the back seat (should have used it)!! I tried to cut it, it wont. Cut with a high powered grinder. That thing really is strong.

Sorry buddy but you outside of NY people need to stop stereotyping NYC as a sh!thole. I live in the most ghetto part of Brooklyn, East New York and I'll be damned if anyone has layed a finger on my car yet.

Sorry to hear what happened, where were you parked?

I have the Auto lock and i put that thing on all of the time... I was looking into a Multi-lock that lock that goes on the shifter... But it seems like it was a smash and grab for just your pillar mod... Try not to leave a thing in sight because theres alot of those crackhead smash and grabbers... I have the pager alarm and its peace of mind... I have the glass sensors and whole 9 yards... Im sorry to hear of your problem, many have been in your shoes. You just feel violated, I know but brush it off your shoulders... Damn Nassau C.C. I wouldnt guess it would happen there??? Good Luck

The thing is that there are cars stolen there all the time. At least once a month sometimes its a lot more then that... A buddy of mine got his MAX stolen in the same parking lot just before my last MAX was stolen.

As for the security, they do nothing except write you parking tickets.

Wow that was not even in the city... I wouldnt expect that out in the suburbs...

You guys need to get together in that school and b!tch and moan about the lack of security. If you can get some #'s out and show how many cars and thefts there have been they'll do something.
