Well i have had the tires for a week now and they handle great in dry and wet weather. They are not as hard over the bumps like the Ventus tires were. I think the Ventus tires handled little bit better than the dunlops do but they grip enough for my taste. I hope they are better in the winter than the Ventus tires were.

 

Yeah SP5000s are nice tires. I am satisfied with the snow traction(lots of snow in Boston) and think they performed well for ultra high performance tires.

 

I have had them for over 13,500 miles and even with routine rotating they are getting quite loud! Anyone else have this problem?

 

I have the same thing, but my tires are Pirelli SP 7000s. When brand new, they're soooo quiet. I always love the 1st week with new tires. Couple of weeks later, RAAAAAAAHH! I exagerate, but you get the idea

I had them for 30K miles and they started to get loud after 10K or so. I replaced them (even though they still had alot of tread left on them) with Michelin Pilot XGT's and they're much quieter!

 

Has there even been a online poll of recommended tires? If not, I think one would be very beneficial to everyone on the site.
