lug replacement

hey guys i'm looking to get a new nice set of lugnuts.....any of you guys know any good websites or brands?

bump.......does nissan sell an entire new set of stock lugs by any chance?

I'm sure you can get them from the dealer. But why? Get some titanium lugs. If you get new rims/tires tirerack sends them to you.

i can just tell the lugs i have now are starting to strip......when i'm tightening them on they'll slip and make a weird noise, so i think its time for new ones

Go with McGard, lifetime rust-free guarantee and you can get a set of matching locks while you're at it. Once you get them, register them with McGard and if you ever lose your key, you call them up, give them your name, address, VIN, etc. and they'll mail you a new key within a week to the registered address.

Your lugs are stripped? That is very odd. In every case I've dealt with or heard the stud strips before the lug. You might want to check that out. In any case, that is very unsafe if more than one lug per wheel is stripped.

its only 1 or 2 lugs that do that, but all of them are pretty beat up


i will check out the studs......what might be some things i need to look for?

Remove the lug. You should be able to see if the thread is buggered up. If you don't know what a messed thread looks like swap a known good lug to that stud and see if it threads properly.
