Lowest Lowering Springs

Ive read a lot of posts about lowering springs from progress and eibach and so on but are there any springs that are the lowest or are the all around 1.7? It just looks like Im gettin ready to go four wheelin'.

The lowest are Sprints.

But, lower is not necessarily better.

s-techs are 2.2 in the front compared to sprints 2.0. but the s-techs are 1.8 in the back compared to sprints 2 in the back.

I've got ground control coilovers on my I30 and I can't even get a finger in between the fender and the tire. Not sure how low it is but I'm lower then anything I park next to. My gf's dad had a 03 vette convertable and my roof is lower then his with the top up. One of my pals has sprints in his max and I'm definately lower then him. Get Low!!!

coilovers usualy drop the car 0-4 inches. but if there the sleeve type(cheapest)they give the harshest ride. however you can get the real thing from like D2 or tien for pretty cheap comparatively and have a nice ride and LOW drop.

Dont go for the weapon R or ground controls or any of those cheap sleeve type coil overs if you want a somewhat good ride...

Get D2's or atleast Tein Basics

I have Ground controls and the handling over stock is day and night. I am however switching to progress springs simply because i hate the noises that these things make. Squeeks, pings, pongs, creeks, and an occasional BOOM from bottoming out

I would go with sprints. Sleeve type coilovers are O.K. but if you dont mind the noises...and you dont mind the extremely ROUGH ride, the go for it. The handling like i said is VERY much improved, but then again all i have to compare too is stock springs...(GXE)

cutting coils

damn I slammed mine by cutting 3.5 coils off of stock springs LOL but I have recently changed to maxspeed and cut 1.5 coils off of them best ride.. A little stiff like i wanted, but still smooth.. stock struts also... I am surprized they have yet to blow out... My stock ones cut 3.5 coils, rode damn good and i had to cut bump stop in half.. but i still bounced off them once and a while.... But hell get whatever, just tellin my experiences....

I was really thinking about some weapon R coilovers for the drop but actually I guess I will just go with the Sprints because I make long trips all the time from columbia to st louis and back. A really harsh ride would be ok for short distance but for long I think Ill go with the sprints
thanks

i had sprints and maxpseeds and i like the sprints, werent to harsh considerign the drop the gave, they were alot smoother than maxspeeds.

And everyone is talking about d2's , im debating on wether i should buy these or not beacuse of all the noise problems everyone is having and the strut blowing problems. I am doing my homework tho before i spend 800$$ on them....
