Have to be a 99 ECU upgrade!

How many 1999 maximas out there who want a ECU upgrade? I bet a bunch of you guys. There has to be a company somewhere that have/make them. I'm going to start calling up companies tomorrow and next week to see if they could make one or something.

good luck but i wouldnt waste the time if i were you many of us have spent many hours trying to get someone to work with a 99 ecu no one can do it. you best bet would be to try and get a 96 ecu to work.. you have to swap a few pins in your wiring harness.. as soon as i get a chance i have all the pin out`s that need to be changed so im going to give it a try and see if it really will work.

I heard that the 99's are more like 2000's and not as mich like the 97-98, so the 96 might not work.....dunno if its true just remember reading this somewhere. Correct me if i am wrong.

i have all the pinouts of both the 96 and 99 ecu and you have to move a few pins to make it work/ i also got the same pinouts from ben at jwt. he calims that all you have to do is swap the pins and it will work. so why not try it it dosent hurt. all i need though is to get some time to do it. which probley wont be any time soon. im sure if tilley got a 3.5 motor to run off a 95 ecu then i cant see why a 96 ecu wont work in a 99

don't waste your time. I have personally tired JWt and Technosquare with no luck. There was another company that i spoke to that said they would being doing a application specific piggyback but i have heard nothing from them since. The company was "unichip" you can follow up with them if you like.

Supermax95 the 99 ECU is more like the 98. they have an ECU upgrade "available" for the 2000.
