help replacing caliper

help replacing caliper

can someone give me quick overview on how to replace by rear caliper. i have never done it so i dont want to mess up my e-brake or anything. i ordered the factory service manual the other day but havent received it yet.

remove the two caliper nuts, then remove the cable for the E brake. its as simple as that.

what about the brake line. i amhaving a hard time getting that damn bolt loose

spray some wd-40 on it its probably rusted. you have to remove the caliper from the rotor so you can have somoe room to manuever the cable. you have to release the lock nut to loosen the cable so you can slip it out.

Remove the ebrake cable end with a pair of pliers while turning the lever w/a socket wrench.

Remove the banjo bolt and remove the brake line and simply disconnect the caliper mounting bracket (torque member) by removing the two (19mm heads?) bolts.
