SES Light on but no codes???????

I have a 99 SEL today I was accelerating up a hill and the SES light started blinking on and off. I scanned the codes with my scan tool and no codes came up. The light hasnt come back on yet. Has this happened to anyone else ???? What could it be????? I am meticulous in maintaining this car

Just wait, $10 says you will get a misfire code sometime in the future and it'll be time to replace an ignition coil. It happens to all the 99s.

i just called around to order some and the mitsubishi's are no longer available. I was told nissan phased them out because they had a higher failure rate than the hanshin's. I ordered some hanshins.

I had a mystery SES before. Instead of giving no code, it froze my scanner. I eventually figured it out.

Blinking light is usually a misfire, the coils WILL eventually fail on a 99... Hopefully a code will show up pinpointing which cylinder. Or bite the bullet and replace them all...

Where's the best/cheapest place to get ignition coils? I got a blinking SES light, but mine told me which cylinder...

Dang, I forget if it was camshaft or crankshaft position sensor. I think it was Crankshaft.
Good luck dood.
