Nissan Key-Value clutch kit??bs?

Hey guys,
I need your help.

Got to replace my cluch, went to local dealer to get price quotes. They pushing me to get what they call KEY VALUE CLUTCH KIT. They say it is exactly the same parts but combined thais why it is cheaper. Some people i talked to say that the quality is a lot poorer. What do you guys know about it?? I'd rather pay a little more for the OEM clutch than getting some cheappy.

If you guys know anything about quality of those two and if it is the same parts, please let me know.

Any help appreciated

Thaks a lot
Igor

Description: This is a clutch that Nissan will try to offer you when you bring your car in to get the original OEM clutch replaced. It is much cheaper than the OEM Nissan clutch but is also said to be very poor quality and should be avoided at all costs. This clutch might be the one manufactured by LUK clutches. It is an authorized factory replacement clutch, but does not have favorable reviews.
Possible problems: A lot of members have had problems with the clutch slipping greatly and wearing out very quickly. Probably will not last very long.
Definitely stay away from Key Value. I would just get a 5th gen clutch. Supposedly they are a little stronger. If you just have the basic bolt ons or are stock then stay with OEM for either a 4th or 5th.

5th gen clutch part numbers:
clutch disc 30100-2Y904
Throwout bearing 30502-41U20
clutch cover (pressure plate) 30210-89F00

http://www.jerryromenissan.com/en_US/MiscPage_1.chtml or
http://www.courtesynissan.com are two very good dealers to start out with finding a good price. You should be able to get the whole thing for under $200 for parts.

Thanks, now I am sure will go with the OEM parts. When you said to get parts from the 5th gen, do you mean from the 01 maximas with the 3.5 or the 00 maximas with the same vq30?
Theoreticaly the PP from the 3.5 engine would be stronger, but will it fit?

Thanks
Igor

He probably just wanted to verify this before he ordered the parts...makes sense. But the part numbers were listed there...
