Make sure when you put the new filter on, that you rub the seal with new oil, and dont torque the heck out of it, just enough to get a good seal, or else you will be going through the same ordeal next time. I took my max to jiffy lube for the first oil change, out of fear that I would have to go through something like this. I figured i would spend the money once, and at least know that a new filter is on there for the next change.

I dont remove anything, I just turn hard and I can reach underneath and get to the filter no probs.
