My Crx has 3 vacumm pump in my oil lines becasue i like to ...i really dont know where else to go with that....

 

Make sure when you put the new filter on, that you rub the seal with new oil, and dont torque the heck out of it, just enough to get a good seal, or else you will be going through the same ordeal next time. I took my max to jiffy lube for the first oil change, out of fear that I would have to go through something like this. I figured i would spend the money once, and at least know that a new filter is on there for the next change.

 

So do you actually drive or do you just change the oil on your parent's maxima? Sounds like you don't have much of a grip either

 

I know this is an old thread, but I just cut the wheels hard right and pull the plastic cover off. No need to remove the wheel.

I dont remove anything, I just turn hard and I can reach underneath and get to the filter no probs.
