Recently My Battery Had Died And It Was Replaced With A New One. Shortly After The New Battery Was Put In The Abs, Battery And Brake Lights On Instrument Panel Came On. Also The Radio Went Dead. When I Drive The Car And Apply The Brakes The Radio Comes On And The Lights Go Away. When I Release The Brake Pedal Lights Come Back On And Radio Goes Off. Need Help.

 

sounds like your alternator going out on you.

your lights on the guages will light up and flick and do weird things, a good sign alternator is dying and to replace.

 

Alternator is DEAD not going out.

 

battery also gets very hot started to smoke,is that part of the alternator going bad

 

i have a similar problem with my 95. it also has trouble starting when cold and wet outside. i had my alternator checked at Autozone and they said it was ok. what else could cause this problem? thanks.

 

i have never heard of symptoms like that NOT being the alternator.. get it tested somewhere else. That is not a maxima spefic symptom, thats just about all cars. Unless something I am completely unaware of is goin on, I'd put $ on it being alternator issues

 

A bad ground will cause misc. crazy electrical things as well. Make sure all your grounds are snug and clean...
