Need suggestions with a 4X4 Max

I'm trying to decide on which way to go with my suspension. I really want to lower it about 1.5". But I don't want to loose the comfortable ride. I was thinking of factory replacement struts ( sensa trac ) with h&R springs. Or should I go with a aftermarket spring & strut combo. Like Illumina's or tateko's. But I know the aftermarket's combo's don't ride as soft & a they cost a bundle. Can I use a Monroe strut with a set of H & R Springs?

i personally wouldnt bother with monroe shocks...i'd at least get somthing a little better if your going to change it, h&r's should still give you a nice ride and nice drop, eibachs will also do the same but from what i know thier a lot stiffer then h&r's...i would spend the money on illuminas while your doing it though, better off doing it once then having to change it every 6 months because you didnt spend a little extra the first time

Yeah Dan I've been thinking about it. I think it smarter to save up some more pennies and go the full setup. Thanks
