Hey everyone.

I'm new here and I hope that it is ok to post a stereo thread in this section. It is directly related to my 95. My Bose just crapped out and I would like to replace it with something that actually fills out the gap that will be left when I pull it out. I'm wondering if anybody has any suggestions. I'm concerned about aesthetics and I want it to look like it is supposed to be there instead of a cut and paste job.

Many companies make a Double Din reciever so it will take up the same amount of space your Bose HU or for that matter any Double Din factory reciever. Just look around it all depends on how much you are willing to spend and what company you prefer for a new HU, or you can just get a single DIN reciever and the harness that will either cover up the old spot with just a blank or turn it into a cd holder (depends on car and harness you get) But I think you sound more interested in a Double Din reciever.

There is an Audio/Electronics section on this forum that you can refer to for more answers and to post. Btw, a lot of people on the org are replacing the bose units with the Microvision lcds in the Group Deals section and installing a single DIN headunit and/or DVD player. That's what I plan on doing.
