My wife works for Allstate here in Texas, normally when you turn 25 you get a discount on your insurance, well if you get married at any time before that you get the discount early. We got married when I had just turned 23 and my insurance cost was cut in half.

Well, the I guess the catch is that I put my car under my dad's name, and he has never had an accident in his 31 years of driving.

Im an 18 year old male, with two tickets and my insurance is about 2500 dollars a year with a 97 max. The worst part about insurance is that we pay all this money and when we have an incident they raise it even more, the point of insurance is to protect us and help us when an accident happens, right. But instead they hurt us worse.................

$900 and something per year, would be about $9000 if it was in my name! Insurance in Ontario is ridiculous! And apparently the amount of claims has dropped, but they keep raising prices. Don't know when I'll ever be able to afford to have it under my name...

1. I'm 24, single, male
2. 1995 SE 5 spd
3. Zero tickets or accidents on my record (went to driving school recently for one)
4. I pay $696/year for liability

Geico insurance BTW

I attribute the low rate to several things. When they did their questionairre to apply I told them I only drive 5,000 miles/yr because I drive my Z during the summer, I also told them there are no other drivers in my home, and I guess it helps that I have good credit and own a home.

Renewed my policy the other day. I'm 32, good record (by luck, not one ticket in 4 years), driving a 95 SE, full coverage, everything they offer, lowest deductibles, highest limits, renters insurance included. $632 per year. USAA is the greatest. I'll forgo the marriage discount. It's cheaper to pay higher insurance than to be married.
