2000 a/t on a 95 max ?

i was wondering if a tranny from a 2000 maxima would work on my 4th gen. Will i need to get anything or will it bolt right on ?

2000 tranny is a direct-swap for the 4th gen maxima, im talking about manual..never heard anything about auto but i assume its the same

It bolts up directly but with all the people complaining about the 1-2 being sloppy and needing a valve bosy etc, just stick with the 4g, it will be cheaper. The only difference is a very very slight difference in the FD in the newer version but it equates to approx 100 rpm. and is there mostly to make up for the tire size, IMO.
