another HID retro on the way
i painted the chrome part graphite, and used TSX projectors. i know i no longer have hi-beams but the wife doesn't flash anybody anyways. and where we live we don't need hi-beams. one side is almost finished. i'd have to seal up the back where the projector sticks out of the mounting plate.

that looks hot...how long does it take to fit that projector in there? .. what do you use to secure it? ... whered you get the tsx projectors?....can you explain a few of the basic steps you took for doing this ?

all you ever wanted to know about HID but afraid to ask --> www.hidplanet.com/forums
i cut off the back part of the reflector and mounted a plate to it with JBweld. then drilled and cut holes to fit the projector. the projector is held in place with 3 spring loaded bolts, up/down and left/right adjustments can be made by twisting two of the 3 wing nuts behind the plate. you can see part of the back plate in the picture. the shiny thing in the picture is a range cover. i got my tsx projectors from ebay, sometimes you can get great deals there. the tsx projectors, ballasts, and bulbs costed me about $300.
