Whenever i turn on my AC and accelerate, i hear this squeaking (that i normally hear from geo metros if any car)... but when i turn the fan off it goes away. is this a problem with the serpentine belt? help appreciated!

 

Yup probably, check if it is still in good condition and make sure it's tigh enough.

I bought a Goodyear Gatorback at Autozone for about $14.00. Its really easy to install. You should be done in 30 minutes or less.

 

Mine only squeeks with the a/c on when I drive through a puddle and it gets wet. I feel like i'm driving a hooptie when that happens.

 

thats how i feel. i gotta roll with my windows up because my loud rap music disturbs the neighbors...(got a note on my windshield from a cop about that :/) so basically i turn the AC on at stoplights and turn it off again before i have to accelerate. once i get paid ill head to autozone. i can tell they crack up when i walk in because i know enough about my car and they cant rip me off. when i go in asking for 6 iridium spark plugs, a spring compressor and 2 o2 sensors the guy looked at me like i was on crack.... then he went and got it all

 

lol my car does the same thing and the shop i was going to get my struts done and belts and breaks tole me my belt were fine but they looked kinda old and crackin alil ..well anyway he told i needed a new [[tenchiner]] man you know i spelled that all wrong but anyway i hope you know what i mean lol!but tell me what you think ?
