Loose Hood Latch??
Hey, i've read the stickie on how to tighten the trunk latch. Does this apply for the hood latch as well? Mine has a little play in it, bugs the hell out of me. When my hood is closed, i can lift it just a little, and it moves up and down over bumps too. Just noticed it today.

It might not be the latch - you might need to adjust your hood stops. They are rubber pieces that screw in along the upper radiator support (I think) that you can adjust for height.

to above post.
if not then the hood latch is bolted in, you and take out the bolts and try to move the latch higher up, it most liekly wont go higher up than a few milimeters but worth a try non the less.

wouldnt you need to lower the latch so that it rests harder against the bump stops, as opposed to raising the latch....that would just give it more freedom to move around no?

Good news... I know its the rubber hood stops thats the problem.
Bad news... 1 is missing!! Looks like a trip to the salvage yard for me. Oh well, maybe i can find some good stuff. Thanks for pointing that out, completely overlooked it when i tried to figure it out earlier.
