Any one has this issue?
My car wouldn't start if parking on the sun for 6-7 hrs in 80-90 degree. I have to turn the key on for like 2 minutes then start the car. However, i have no problem start right away in the morning or when the weather is cool out side. I am not sure what could cause this issue.....If any 1 does please do post what your diagnoses .....As always...Thanks in advance.
1. Is the CEL set? - if yes, what codes?
2. When you say, you have to turn the key to on, you mean the "ON" position right?
3. If it happens all the time, it may be the ignition switch or the relay.
Get yourself a Haynes and check for voltages at the various ignition points - that way you can identify the root cause. No point just replacing "possible" parts until you get it right (since it could be one of several things).

i'm assuming everything else being fine, then jogged down to this...
hot weather-don't start for 2 minutes=low air density?
cold weather-starts normally=high air density?
so it seems like air density played big part of this startind delima. Is your air filter clean?, intake system is clean? you might want to consider flushing the intake system with seafoam first::: throttle body, manifold, iacv+egr...
(this is a "maybe" diagnosis, could be your ignition problems)

get a meter, and rip open your ignition switch. and hook one lead to the power to relay(starter) and the other end to the relay. checking for continuity, turn the ignition switch slowly and wait till it shows you continuity. it should give continuity at the moment the ignition switch goes to the start position, if it is bad, replace it.
Mine is getting harder to start as well. I have to twist the key really hard against the stop to get it to crank. Ugh, I guess I'll add a new switch to the ever growing list of things to replace.
