help keyless entry oem won't work??
so i just got my car back from getting it tinted with the solar guard reflective tint 28% front and 14% rear
so when i hit the unlock and lock button on my remote it won't work, im so pissed, i hope it isn't the tint, does anyone know where the transmitter is in the car that recieves the signal to unlock/lock and panic the alarm is?
plus i changed the battery and it still won't work, damn im frustrated, i mean the tint is reflective but would that mess up the signal, but i also tried it while i was inside no luck, any help would be usefull its the oem unit

Same thing happen to me too when I got my tints done. Check the ELEC fuse which is in the cabin of the car. The ELEC fuse is in the top right hand side corner. Check if it is blown. In my case, it was not but simply the action of me taking it out and reinserting it, my keyless entry worked again.

umm....did you try it while you were IN the car?? if it doesn't work while your IN the car. then there is something wrong with the remote or module itself. if it does work INSIDE the car and not OUTSIDE the car. USUALLY tints won't reflect signals such as a remote unless you have the tints that have metallic layers inside
