fog lights

I need to replace one of the factory fog lights on my '96. Is this going to be a pain in the *** or a quickie?

Just the bulb, or the whole light?

Don't know about '96 but on my '98 its like 10mins to take out and put back both just need 10mm socket with extension, phillips screw driver(better socket as screws may be rusted) There are two bolts on the inner side of the each fog and use phillips to remove the plastic peace that covers the bolts Hope that helps and works in your case .

Yeah, the plastic piece is the only think you need to be a little patient with, but once you get that off it is a breeze. Should also be illustrated in your owners manual. Good luck.

It should be that hard...I think MeanBean has a write up of some sort that will tell you atleast how to remove the fog lights from the car...(in his write up he is turning the fogs into yellow colored fog light like the IS300)

wow. this is a piece of cake.

1) dont worry about the plastic piece, jsut wedge a flathead in there and pry it off. dont worry about breaking it unless you put the pressure on the wrong spot. the snap should just pop off.
2) I forget if its one or two 10mm bolts, but it/they hold the light onto the bracket.
3) Pull the light out and do what you need to it
4) Reinstall using backwards directions.
