Try driving it around a bit and check the dipstick again. Take your ATF with you. As for the tc, I have no answer for you. The tc on my truck is somewhat warm to the touch in very hot days.

Something in the wiring of you're drop resistor (tranny torturing) mod is not correctly connected or disconnected. At least that's my guess.

I know nothing about the drop resistor mod, but I don't need to because I'm 5 speed. You should VB mod your automatic.

i just fixed the DR mod, so now its back to stock

what could i have possibly fried in the tranny? there was hardly no metal shavings in the oil pan. and i showed my oil levels to 3 people, and they all said it was good. my dad is a way, but he said there has to be oil in the Torq converter or else you wouldve felt a banging noise, and it wouldnt engage into gear. my final thoughts are............. i didnt had enough tranny oil in there before the accident??

when i drop it into 2nd from drive at low speeds it doesnt jerk hard anymore

wtf

Hey..just out of curiosity, pull out the crankshaft position sensor (POS) located by where the engine and transmission meet, right next to the front engine mount. See if it is covered with metal shavings. Clean the shavings off of it and put it back in. Also, if you know of a trustworthy transmission shop, have them check the TCU for codes. At this point, its really hard to diagnose your problem online. Your next step would be to seek professional help.

try to overfill it turn the car on and engage the gears without loading it then drain it back to normal level,, that will give the tranny a chance to be fully lubricated oh and check your resistor,, i say start saving money for 5 spd cuze autos are very sensitive and once something goes wrong it's a chain reaction so don't be surprised when it goes out b ready and goodluck

wow i dont know what happened, but for the first time in 2 years, i ve never felt my car pull as hard. today after work i got in the car and i was like fawk it, i gased it hard and the car just launched. the speed was crazy, i never felt my car pull so hard before...

so im guessing everything is fine with the tranny now...

but earlier today it was throwing codes. the OD light flashed 10 times, i just have to find out what it means

I hope you are still planning on getting your TCU scanned. The fact that the problem suddenly disappeared doesn't warrant anything that the problem is fixed. Consider this borrowed time, get your tranny diagnosed properly. Maybe you can still save it from whatever catastrophy is coming, remember silence before the big storm. Just a friendly advise.

that is one of the codes the tranny throws, but not the particular one i had. the one i had it flashed 10 times. that other code posted by kevin was like a safety feature.
