you more than likely wont pass...i did the same thing and i had too amny "unreadies" meaning that the system hadnt had time to process all the components and therefore they could not test about 4 things...you can have one thing not work, but no more than that...good luck...

You will need to drive the car around for at least 2-3 days to let the computer "re-learn" its self. The the computer has to go through a certain number of drive cycles before it will be ready to be tested.

One of my regular mechanics does the inspection at his shop; so if he sees something wrong gives me a break, just give him $20 tip if can not afford to fix car at that time, usually do alignment at same time or something else besides inspection so he makes a little money out of me. If he can't pass it then there are many places that will pass it for a $50-100 tip depending how bad is your car. In case they catch problems act like you didn't know and can't afford to fix it right now, ask them for estimate and for a break, of course you need to tip them as well.
Good luck

Wrong, ECU is always learning that is why it is in a closed loop. It does not adjust to a certain driver. It is always reading the sensors to change the maps and stuff.

I reset my ecu 2 days prior to inspection and I passed the emissions part with flying colors. I currently have had EVAP codes stored for over a year now but I never got around to taking care of it there's always something else to do .... like cleaning the headlights this weeking via kevlo911's "write-up"

In Arizona and Illinois for my 96 max they hook the car to a their computer and if you have reset the ecu resently, a few minutes before to a day or two before, you will fail the test. Well not really fail the test but all of the systems your computer monitors will not have had time to "come on line". It takes a certain number of drive cycles before all systems register.
