Tightening spolier

I decided today to tighten the spoiler on my 97 max se. I started on one and I must have only given it 1/8th of a turn and the bolt broke.
I don't want to tighten any more bolts incase I break them, but I would really like to fix the one I've broken. Does anybody know if I remove the other 3 nuts and remove the spolier can the broken bolt be replaced?
Thanks for the help.

im not sure if i remember this correctly, but on the spoiler i think the bolts are attached to this flat wide metal piece that is fiberglassed into the shape...i think u can just bondo, drill, or jb weld a new bolt in there....or if u plan on keeping the spoiler there for a long time, self tap a huge screw up into the spoiler post from the inside, or drill a big hole first, then put a bolt in there with a washer around the bolt....good luck...maybe there is another option, but this happened with my spoiler before and it held up with a long drilled hole fromt eh inside and tightening a long bolt from inside the trunk lid...

I would suggest, that you drill out the broken bolt and tap new threads into the hole. You could then either run a bolt directly into the threaded area or insert a new (brainfart, what are the threaded rods called ) threaded rod into the newly threaded area and trim to length.

I guess I am just getting now.....

I wanted to tighten the spoiler cause she was rattling and I could move her like 1/2 inch back and forth. I figured that was not good. Now i'm in worse shape than before. thanks for the advice everyone and I'm gonna remove the other 3 bolts and fix em up that way.
Cheers.

on a related note. My fair right spoiler mount has come loose and the mount towards the center on the right side has broken due to my stereo and a ghey car wash. HOw should i go about fixing this? I was thinking on the mount where the spoiler has seemingly broke to epoxy it back together. But how do i remount the spoiler to the out mount? If that makes any sense at all.
