ok so most of you know i hit underneath my car about 2 weeks ago by crashing into a curb after tire blew out. ok i broke the passenger side rim, passenger side Lower Control arm, Passenger side Ilumina Strut, Tie rod, and bushings... well the airbags went off too

Anyways friday i got the front right Tokico illumina strut, i installed it with a newer lower control arm, MOOG tie Rods, MOOG stabalizer links, and Tie rod ends.

btw, when i try aligning that 22mm nut on the tie rod, the wheel barely moves, if not move at all, and i tried both directions

now when the wheel is straight on the driverside, the passenger side is pointed outward to the right. so basically it looks like this

DRIVERWHEEL - - Passengerwheel
II - -- -- - //

what could it be? i examined the chasis, i see no kinks or bends, im looking at the strut tower, i also see no kinks or bents either... i mean if the chasis was bent, wouldnt the hood not close right? and the door be a problem to open?

i need your thoughts and opinions, anything right now until i get some of mechanics over here to take a look. im stumped.

the spindle looks fine, but for some reason i have a feeling its bent. i mean the hub straightenss out when there is no strut connected. but i double checked the strut twice, and so did my dad, i mean ths spring, and strut mounts are all seated correctly.. help me..

The knuckle is bent. The knuckle is what the strut bolts onto. You should replace the hub and bearing as well with an impact like that.

Call around to some junk yards and see if you can get the whole knuckle and hub assembly. It will be much easier and cheaper to just swap that assembly.

If you really want a new unit, try Pinnacle Nissan on the web for pricing.

thanks for the info guys, i mean i screwed the tie rod all the way out, and the wheel is sraight, but its like cambered down. i was thinking it was the caster but it has no bends. so i guess like you said its the knuckle and hub.

basically right now the wheel is facing down like this /
