first thing, make sure that the front wheels balance out to "0", and that there isnt a slight bend in one or more. some places will not even tell you if there is. more than likely, if it was a wheel bearing there would be a noise associated with it. if not, the trend seems to be either ball joints, control arm bushings, or tie rods. you are not the only one with this problem. i just ordered new control arms, that come with all new bushings and ball joints already installed, inner and outter tie rods, and front stabalizer links with new bushing from world suspension off of ebay for $235. considering thats about how much "1" control arm costs from nissan, its a very good deal. nick also has a very detailed write up with pictures on his cardomian site for the intall if you like to do your own work. personally, ill be having my mechanic do the install.

well said id also suggest if you have junkyer tires that you check for dips and wierd looking tread to make sure the steel belting is not broken. those dang uniroyals love to do that lol -Ryan

did you try switching around the tires to see if the feeling moves or gets better or worse. if you move the front tires to the back, see if the problem "feels" better. If so, then it is probably one of those tires. If it stays the same, then at least you concluded that it's not your actual tires/wheels.
