Unless it had a turbo, S/C, or NO2, there is no way a 5th gen with a 3.5 would reach 11.99.

why would u ever need the max in the 10s? if you want to get in the 10s you'll have to make it a TRACK car. not a car you drive to work. and if your makin a track car i hope its not with a 4 door sedan.

i would be happy with the max in the mid 12s. what else do you need from a daily driven car? just my .2$ on the topic.

ok, so on www.vqpower.com, was the website lying when it gave props to the guy making to 11.99 on slicks? He had previously run low low 12s, and finally inched into the 11s. If the site was lying, then Im lying.

Umm, why don't you provide a more specific link? And yes, he's lying if he said he made low 12's without a turbo, S/C, or nitrous. It's PHYSICALLY FAWKING IMPOSSIBLE for a naturally aspirated maxima to reach low 12's.

so in the long run it would take a whole **** load of hp and tq to get it in the 10s.Just got to have the $ and time to get it done.

Never thought of that and it's RWD too. Don't know if the mounts would line up since it had the VG.

Yeah, the J30 is a boat at 3500lbs, but so is the mustang cobra at 3600lbs.

I thought I might have a little insight as to how to get a 3200lb FWD car into the tens as it was just recently done with a Front Wheel Drive 3000GT. The memeber from 3si.org that did it has spent the better part of 18months working on this car and tuning it with 2 different set ups the current set up (Twin TD-05 Big 16G's) has been on the car for about 6 months. Mardigra didnt respond yet? Why would you want 10 sec's in a max anyway? I'd be happy with 13's just to beat some srt4's and evo's. I'll never see that though cause I have an auto. Hopefully I'll hit 15.5 at the track on friday.

After a certain amount of power, an auto becomes an advantage rather than a disadvantage. An auto can shift much faster than a human can which negates the disadvantage of putting out slightly less power to the wheels.

3.5vq + AEBS stroker kit to a 4.3L + turbo + N20 = well really i have know idea but it has to be around there. i have heard talk of around 1000+ horsepower with this setup.
