eyelid install difficulties! HELP!!

just got my eyelids painted. they are from sarona and say they fit a 95-99 maxima, but they are definetly too long! they go all they way around the headlight and go onto the corner light but they don't fit right at all. Are they suppost to do this? I noticed there is also a peg on the headlight that is in the way. does anyone have any links or anything that will help me out with this? What kind of grinder should i use to shave the peg down?

It's Sarona's way of saying that Maximas aren't supposed to have them.

Yes, dremel the post off, use 3M doublesided tape and your good to go.
Whether you cut them in two is up to you. I did it to mine just for the very reason that JOMAN stated. Many claim that they can pull the corner light out without having to cut them, but I dondt see how. Every time Ive had to pull the corner light out they are awlays a bish to pop loose.
