Airbag light flash

Alright so a friend of mine has a flashing airbag light in his I30, Flashes constantly after engine start. Only started a few days ago. Any way to troubleshoot what might be wrong?

oh. thanks, i read through haynes and chilton and they both basically said dont f with the SRS system. Thanks again!
