OEm should be okay, it may not be long enough. i dont remeber the size, your best bet would be to try and use the OEM bolt, if it doesnt work use that bolt as a reference and take it to a hardware store.

ok thanks !! will make sure to do that. i have a pacesetter sts that i got off of a org member, wanted to make sure there are no rubber bushings that are located on either side where the bolt connects to the shifter correct? i mean nothing big that should be cover the shifter's base from corrossion?
