Installing Ractive Pedals... help

So i picked up some pedals from a friend who bought like a huge amount of wholesale stuff. I got a set of Red/black Ractive pedals. There seems to be no instructions on how this might be installed the proper way. I could just drill thru my pedals and put these in. But i don't understand the parts that came with.

The Brake pedal has for longer screws coming out of it. And the Gas pedal as nothing but 2 holes in the back of it. The parts that came with is 2 silver metal peices that i have no idea what to do with. Then 2 long screws and 2 shorter ones. I was just going to do the double sided tape on these suckers but i rather try and figure out what the parts are for.

those metal things are brackets used to attach the gas pedal to the existing...you prolly have to bend them round to fit....no offense but i hope u got those cheap.....they wont fit right...be crooked and prolly fall off....if u reallt wanted a good set of pedal covers autovations are real nice....but if u really dont care then ractive is for you

1 set them on the ground behind the car.
2 back up and over them.
3 pull forward.
4 repeat 2 & 3 untill they cant be recognized.

but seriuosly you can try and screw them on, but the metal tabs are useless as **** on a bull.

Lol. I have the carbon fiber style and they were not that hard to install. It took a little work, mine have the allen screws though and look more sophisticated than those pictured. You may have a time getting it secured properly with the regular phillips screws.

in all honesty, you're going to have to take your stock rubber pedals off if you want to put on the gas pedal part. if you don't want to do that, you'll have to go home depot because the screws provided aren't long enough. i have the same ones in yellow and i think i have them somewhere on a wobbly table leg.

ah.. i figure it was something like that. I bought them off my friend for 4 off of him for $10. Plus other pointless crap. I never wanted pedals to begin with but i figure i take some off his hands.

So according to everyone this 2 shiny metal things are suppose to be wrapped around my gas pedal. How would the brake pedal be installed then?

the brake pedal (with the hardware provided) should be put on with the two little metal tabs and the one long metal tab. the gas pedal 'should' be fitted with the black metal piece provided. i got the brake pedal on easily, but with the gas pedal, i gave it 4 shots, and then i realized i needed different hardware to put it on, and the drive to homedepot wasn't worth it. these pedals aren't worth it, they are very slippery. get rid of them.

oh yea btw. you're 'friend' ripped u, .. theres a seller on ebay that sells these in lots of 10 for like 15 shipped. go throw these at him.
