need some help...

ok so i am having some problems with my idle. sometimes when i come to a stop the car idles really high. like around 1300 which i know itsnt normal. like as soon as i stop it would idle like around 700 or so, and then it would start to idle fast and faster and then stop at around 1200-1300 what could this be? its starting to **** me off... thanks in advance guys.

Sounds like your IACV (idle air control valve) is sticking... pull it, clean it, replace it and while you are at it, clean out the throttle body. That should take care of it.

Is the CEL on? any codes?

I dont have any CELs on. Where is the IACV located and how hard is it to clean? any directions?

Instructions are in the stickies. It's probably a good idea to get yourself a haynes manual too... The IACV is right behind the throttle body - bolted to the upper intake manifold.
