i like the fact that the b pipe comes in two pieces where as my SP2 was just a muffler and one extremly long B pipe and resonator. aside from the box that was big enough to sleep in, i had to play with the b pipe for 10 min before i fit it in the trunk and took it to the shop !

well they could just extend the 2.5" pipe that is on the resonator already and add an 02 bung
on your 3rd pic the resonator shows an 02 bung....y did u chop it off and weld in a new section and use the factory piece on the cat???? did the 02 wires not reach????
that s pipe is some 97/98 part that nissan thought was genius or something. i hate it with a passion. it makes the resonator hang low and i end up scraping all over. i dont see why they couldnt have made it like the 95/96 and 99 with a hole in it for the o2. it makes no sence.
dmontzsta, do you have anyother pix of the crappy muffler shop cat back? im just curious to see how they did.

I could have missed the correction, but it seems like there might still be a misunderstanding about the configuration of our B-pipe.
The Cattman Performance B-pipe bolts directly to the cat and that stupid stock gooseneck (or "S" section) goes away. That's such an easy fix, we couldn't leave it in the way.
Since there's a port in the disappearing gooseneck, note that every 95-99 Cattman B-pipe has an O2 sensor port in it (though the 95/96 Maxs don't need it - O2 goes in the cat - so we try to remember to include a free plug).

Just to confirm from the source, yes, both the Cattman muffler and B-pipe are interchangeable with their stock counterparts. You can mix them with OE or other brands (if just like OE), but... why would you want to?
The definitely go best together.
