I have a 96 GLE and the car didn't come with the fog lights.
The bumper has raised lines on it, where the fog lights should be. Is it possible to install after market kit after "cutting" the bumper or is it simpler to install some PIAA kit on the car?
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Franck.

How about the factory foglight kit? $170 from www.courtesynissan.com . You can install this yourself in about a hour.

No Holes in bumper...

so am I supposed to cut the bumper out?
There's only some molded emboss plastic on the bumper where the fog lights should have been.
thanks.

Ya, don't worry the kit comes with two metal grills that you attach to the bumper to cut out the holes. I installed my lights in an hour. If you have questions ask me or do a search, cause I had a lot of responses when I asked the same questions you just asked. Look under Fog lights or factory fogs.
ps . your car came prewired for the foglights, you're gonna need to change the turnstalk aka "blinker stick", it comes with the kit too.

Not to be rude, but I think it should be noted that you weren't cheated. GLEs didn't come with fog lights. (May have been an option, but I'm not sure.) I get the impression you're a little bitter about that. I went through this same thing so don't worry about it, it's not hard at all. Although I replaced my bumper with an SE bumper because of a small accident so I didn't have to cut the holes. Good luck with it all.
