Im cutting down the bump stops on my friends car(rome06) and we cant find the bump stops. Do you have to take the Top Hat off to get to the bump stop, or what?? We got the whole shock/spring assembly out of the car sitting next to it, and we cant find the bump stop. How much/what with would we cut the bump stop off? Please respond ASAP the car is sitting in my garage wihtout a suspension and we gotta finish it in the next hour.

make sure you need to cut them.

ones from tire rack are hard to put on but it suggests using soapy water which makes putting them on very easy.
