Major repairs ball joints, link kit, tranny rebuild, exhaust due to rust which resulted in aftermarket system hehe. Also tires and wear & tears parts.
Overall a pleasure to drive, purchased her with 59,000km in 2001 and she has 143,000km now. Still drives like new hehe

When I first got my 96 Max, I ended up dumping about $2,000 into it due to the tranny and clutch going out thanks to the previous owner beating the hell out of it. Other than that I did the alternator which wasn't a big deal. I also replaced the o2 sensors. Other than that just general maintenance. Currently 206,000 miles still running like it did on day 1. I'll never sell it. Best car I've ever owned. Especially for the price. You can't beat the power and reliability you get from the Max for the price. Bought a 1995 Z28 Camaro for my girlfriend back in October. That thing sucks. It's got 130,000 miles. I have replaced neary EVERYTHING in that car except for the engine and tranny. If I get one more problem from that thing, it's gone.

I have owned my 99 SE for two years. I bought it with 52k now it has 85k and I have replaced the following:

battery (twice)
axile-passenger
brakes and rotors front & rear
three different sets of wheels & tires
and the regular maint.
Just did the 90k service myself (and it was a job)

I've had my 98 SE for about a year and have had no problems at all. Only got 107k miles on her so.... Also had a 91 Max before for 2 years. Only things that happened with that was regular crap, (Spark plugs, alternator, thats about it, nothing major at all). And that car was 15 years old with over 200k! I've had very reliable Max's!

Bought used in 1999 with 65,000 miles. Now at 243,432 with one tranny replacement as the most MAJOR thing gone wrong. Of course, I need a knock sensor and an EGR.
For that matter, I've only had to replace the right side headlight bulb TWICE.
ALL the other lights (except for the spoiler LED bar and one fog light) have NEVER been replaced. If it ain't broke......

I've got 130,000 miles on my '99 SE. The AC crapped out at 125,000, but other than that, not a single problem. Great car!
