Got My 97 Max Running again and better then it was

So heres the story after nearly selling the thing cuz i gave up because the car didnt start in six months i brought it to the dealership and alls they did was change the battery which got it to start but they said it needed thousands of dollars to get it running right so i was like screw that ill still sell so almost sold it again well i decided to drive it home instead of towing it like i was supposed to and realized it was running fine after i opened it up on the highway. so i still had issues starting so i was just looking around the engine bay and i noticed the belt started squeeking so i decided to loosen the tensioner well what u know the car starts up so much faster now. sumone must of tightened it way to much cuz when it cranked it would almost stop in the middle of the cranking. So yesturday i cleaned out the throttle body and the car runs smoother and this weekend im attacking the iacv. But finally the Max is running again

Sweet stuff, I gotta get my hands dirty as well. Need to replace oil, fuel, and air filters, minor tune up and oil change. The one thing I'm worried about is if I have bad sensors... I have nearly 190k miles on my ride!

I'd be surprised if that ends-up being the real problem...

WTF...

We changed the crank sensor with mine and I still don't get how it wouldn't start...

And we had my car hooked up to your car and yet it still didn't start.

Oh well you finally got it working, so that's good.
