Congrats. I have great respect for you and your car. It gives us (maybe just me - cant pseak for everyone else on the org) something to look forward to when modding our cars. Again Congratulations!!!

I don't think 11 seconds in a maxima is slow compared to N/A, three seconds is a HUGE difference in racing. Originally Posted by Blue96Max

the fastest All motor would be SR20DEN, with a 12.8, but I hope to beat that.

Only running 11's hahahah.....ever seen a 13.9 sec car race a 11.4 sec car. It's almost like it's standing still. 2.5 sec is a huge, huge, huge, difference. It is fairly easy to go from a 15.0 to a 14.0 compared to going from a 14.0 to a 11.4. The lower and lower you ET gets the more and more power it takes. So many more things come into play when trying to get a maxim in the 11's. You could spend as much time, effort, and money just on getting an 11 sec maxima to hook as you would on all the performance mods of a 13.9 sec maxima. That was just an ignorant comment

Awesome run Ceasar! Imagine if you take that USIM out and put in a 00VI. BTW, what did you add that got you up the high 13's?
you mean what did he take off....= ]Originally Posted by DR-Max

By whom? Not by me if that's what you were referring to. I went 13.999 with the stock ECU, but I had MEVI at the time.
hey this thread is still kicking ! thanks again, im always putting up videos and junk so people look at me, but yeah neal was running 13's in his maxima when i was in diapers, lol ! and i have been chasing mike's e.t.s all motor since i joined the org, he went FI and im still hacking away at it. as for as mardi, man thats the worlds fastest maxima, i was in DYO today with the V8's and its amazing how fast they can catch you, even when you get half a tracks head start (11-12 second cars).
interesting news today, ran my hoosier drag radials at a tough track here in NZ, it was hotter and higher (height above sea level) expected to be .1-.2 slower due to the conditions, the track is also new, first races took place Jan 2006.
With the proxes there was no way I could ever hope to run lower than 14.2 today, but with the aid of these new tires i struck gold 1.97 60 foot, and the chariot slugged its way slowly down the track 14.0@96 mph, so lost a good 2 mph (on best 60 foot runs) compared to my hometrack. NZ does have two fast tracks with low elevation, however only one is open now and its a long haul from here.
1.9 though, excellent news, dont see why i would have any trouble running a 13.7 with this setup. will report back in.
video from today 1.9 60 foot
