Today its real nice outside in Jersey so to get alittle more air inside the car I try to open my sunroof. The sunroof opened but it just slid back, it wasnt able to tilt up and down. Is that a problem with the tilt switch or is it a motor problem. I've never had this problem before, both buttons worked with now probs. Has any one had a similar experience with this before????

Mine doesn't work at all, but did you try to push it up at all? It may just be stuck around the gasket....

when i bought my max used, it had a problem with the sunroof where it doesn't tilt up all the way and is higher on one side then the other, it also wouldn't close all the way and had an annoying whistling sound on the freeway. i bought the sunroof repair kit from the dealer and followed the instructions in the stickies to repair it myself. the most annoying part was taking off and putting on the roof liner. after the liner is out its straight forward if you can follow directions. mine has been good ever since the fix.
