Hey,
Does anyone have a how2 on intalling the Energy Suspension FSB and endlink bushings? I just got them in, and I was reading the instructions and they were very vague.

Thanks.

The sway bar bushings are easy. You just pry out the old ones and put in the new ones (more specific information is available, if requested). The end-link bushings are a PITA. I brought them to my shop to be installed and the stock ones had to be burned out and such and took quite a while. I'll try and find the instructions if I can.

Should I wait until I put my struts/shocks in, which will be in August, when the AGXs come out? Or is it an easy enough install, where it can be done quickly and easily?

DONT DO IT MAN!!!!!!!

for God sakes man, i kid you not!!! the bushings squeak so loud my girlfriend made me take them out. and just so you know, the dealer has no way of selling you a stock bushing alone b/c it is attached to the control arm and they are $175 a side. i have my old one to prove it..... nate/ but they work okay i guess, hard to tell cuz i got them after the fstb, rstb, shocks, springs and rsw... nate

sorry chiefthunder, but I must regretfully admit that the bushings need to be replaced. I replaced mine and for the first ~1000 miles the new bushings "squeaked" when I came to a stop or a go. The ride feelt a little tighter at first, but it seems to have stiffened more after time has passed. The squeaks have now dissipated and the ride is much better. Just jam really loud for a half a year & you won't notice anything but a better ride. Do it, no r3gr3ts

How much difference is there between the Courtesy Nissan bushings and the Energy Bushings? I bought the Courtesy ones and never got around to installing them. Don't even know if I can find them anymore!!!

Energy Suspension are the ones that Courtesy sells. I have had the bushings on my car for over a year and not a sound. I would got to suspension.com they have better prices.

As for the install...jack car, support car, remove wheels. Remove the bolts on the brackets, remove brackets and old bushings. Clean the bar use the grease that came with the buishing a grease the sh*t out of the inside of the bushing AND the bar. If you need more grease or did not get any go to a marine supply and get water proof trailer grease. Put everything back together.....and enjoy.

Do you guys have the part numbers for the Energy Suspension parts or will they know which ones go on a 96 Max? I've got a $50 gift certificate and I want the endlinks and fsb bushings. Thanks.

Thanks. The Front End Control Arm Bushing set is the endlinks, right? I don't want the lower control arm bushing that require a press to get them in.

I'm not exactly sure. Mine are sitting in the box in my living room. I think its the endlink ones, but they might come with all of them too. I didn't know a press would be required for some of them. Maybe someone else will help us out on that one.

Front End Control Arm Bushing Set: 7-3111 are not endlinks. They are for the control arm. Currently energy suspension has the endlinks, sway bar frame bushings and control arm bushing avail.

Hope this helps

I don't know why there is not a part number. I have them in my Max. Call suspension.com and tell them you want the endlinks. They are a "generic" part ie they will fit a Max, Honda, Mercedes,...
