O2's still ok, but the CEL came back
Instead of changing the bad O2 sensors, the mech removed and cleaned them. He also cleaned the ECT. That was about ten days ago, I guess.
The CEL came back on yesterday.
I thought I was going to have to eat humble pie and tell you guys that it was the O2 sensors bad again, that cleaning them doesn't work. But I couldn't understand why the car was still going like a rocket despite the CEL!
Today I pulled the ECU codes and to my surprise, no O2 sensor codes. Instead I got 09-08, 01-03, and 03-04. Well we all know what 03-04 is...
09-08 and 01-03 both refer to the ECT, so I guess I need to replace it. I'm curious why it throws 2 codes instead of just one, though.
I'll replace the ECT first and reset the ECU and then see if 03-04 comes back on its own, and if it does, then I'll replace the KS, but *not* before!

Well I am not sure, but I'll be seeing him later today probably, so I'll ask. He did tell me that they were full of carbon. It's difficult for me to get the precise details sometimes, since he doesn't speak English and I have to use Spanish, which is my second language. I have learnt a lot of the basics like 'empaque' = gasket, 'tornillo' = bolt, and so on. But some items still escape me.
