well just redrilling it to 114.3 x 5 pattern. is not a big deal. as you see on the picture above, there are extra holes, the smaller ones is what you will be using. after that, that's all you need to do it fits in right perfect!
cobra rotors are bigger than the new maxima's so that's why i went for that one, but if you dont want to hassle with it, i guess the maxima rotors will work just fine.
Just remember.....redrilling is not so much of a hassle, all you gotta do is get it done that's all.
good luck.

chillin, when you redrill the rotors, you dont really need to get the center rings.
you need the center rings if you dont redrill since the whole of the rotor for the cobra is a lot bigger, then rotor is just going to sit down but with the redrill, the rotor will sit just like our rotor on the maxima since it will fit well.
people recommend to use the ring, but i didn't and its all fine as it is from the way i see it.

Excellent. I think this is what i will do.

chillin, these cobra rotors i believe it runs from 94-04 or something like that and any of these years cobra rotors will work just fine. they are all the same size.
and the redrilling, i got it done from the company i bought the rotors from. you can ask if they can redrill it for you, it shouldn't cost more than $15 bucks.
or you can take it to a machine shop that does rotors, they can do that for you too.

i actually have the rings but when i put the rotor on, it fit weird....maybe because my wheel hub was a little rusty?

i did get the rotor redrilled though, and it seems to fit well.
im curently running 17x7.5 on it and i was very skeptical if it would fit or not, and it does fit (thank goodness)
for everyone that doesn't know if it would clear their wheels or not......17's is the minimum for this kit to fit under the inner barel of the wheel. but clearance of the spoke is also another thing.
doesn't matter what offset your wheels are, because if the spoke design is off, it will not fit. do a lot of research before putting these on!!!
the whole set up. i dont remember how much it cost, i got the calipers with the 300zx rotors first, and with the new rotor and brake pads, cost me about 160. brackets i had long time ago. so i really forgot how much i spent total, but ball park....maybe $600-$700?

Can you check because I may get these wheels and they are $142 each.
they do make a 17x7 with a 40mm offset in a 5x114.3 bolt pattern. The reason I am asking is i purchased G35 sedan wheels in a 17x7 with 40mm off set and i am trying to figure out if they will clear this upgrade.

Finished my upgrade, and even with 20MM spacers, I think the inner "barrell" of my wheel is not designed correctly for this kit.
I have 17x7 Motegi DP6 42MM offset added 20MM spacers. And the front of my caliper to the wheel has less clearance than yours Maximus. I'm running Q45 calipers with Q torque arms. .
I'm not quite sure what I can do. I have credit card worth of space. The driver side is fine, the passenger side is not, the wheel weights touch. I may just have to get the wheel weights moved. I am not sure.

quick question:
what's the difference in weight of the 300zx rotor compared to the cobra rotor? compared to the 04 maxima rotor?
in all respects, the 04 maxima rotor sits much better than the cobra rotor on the 4th gen max.
kevlo911 has that setup.
