I need help!! I bought my Maxx around 4 yrs ago from a salvage lot. It was a flood recovery. The engine, ECU, and tranny was swapped out and replaced by the lot, but I dont know what year it came off of.

Im looking into getting the JWT ECU but I dont know what year of ECU I have. Does anyone know how to determine the year of ECU, whether it be through the serial number or maybe any physical differences??

the 95-95 ecu usually has a white and orange label , rather then the green and white one one the 97- up.

you could contact JWT ? I believe you can open the ecu up, and give them some information and they can determine it for you. or it could be as simple as using the serial number off the side of the ecu without opening it. not sure but i bet they could identify it for you. maybe you could do the same thing and call your local nissan shop ?

maybe there is an easier way not sure ?
