Another Noise From My Front End

I'm getting a thud - thud and squeek from my front left wheel but only when turning right AND pressing on the gas pedal. It doesn't matter how slightly I turn right, how little pressure I put on the gas pedal, or how slowly/quickly I'm moving. If I'm coasting or braking then there is no sound, no matter how hard I turn right or brake. There is a humming sound driving straight but there is no thud.

I raised the front end and there is no play in the wheel. I pulled the caliper off. One of the slides was sticking but I cleaned it and greased it up. Its no longer sticking but I still get the noise.

Anybody have any ideas what could be causing the noise? Any help is appreciated.

Come on guys. I can't be the first person to get this noise. Its very loud and I can almost feel it. Something is hitting hard. I've narrowed it down to wheel bearing, axle, or spring/strut. None of them is perfect. Any help is appreciated before I start replacing items.

Thanks.

Go back a few days ago and there is a lot of message on this subject. Its seems the answer comes down to bad rotors/wheel bearings or cv joints.

id say its the bearings...they are not expensive but a pain in the ***...you need a shop press because they are compressed good luck

Is it a thud like something is hitting the floor? I had that once when a Midas shop broke the end mount of the front sway bar on my Sentra and didn't tell me. They also denied knowing anything about it. This was years ago and I've never gone back.

If nothing in the front suspension is loose or ready to die, then I say it's the wheel bearing. It could be the axle, but they typically pop and click before they die, and that's after the boot has been torn for a while. I would check the strut and the bushings. The strut would feel the effects of turning and possibly make a noise when pressure/weight is applied.

Anyone else? Speak up suspension gurus.
