I'm trying to hook up my HID kit and I have a problem. Instead of buying the 9007 HID kit for my Maxima I bought a H4 kit. Now I can always buy the 9004 bulb, but what should I do about the wiring harness that runs from the stock headlamp power socket to the HID ballast? Is there a way that I can just buy another pre-made harness, or am I going to have to splice/solder a 9004 socket in place of the H4 socket? How could I go about fixing this problem? Thanks.

Given that it's a kit, and you're unlikely to have anything to do with the leftover harness and bulbs by themselves should you replace them with 9004 components, I would say sell it. It's still new, and it wouldn't be hard to find someone willing to buy it.

Sell it, buy a 9004 kit.

go to some civic forums and sell it to them, then get a 9007 hid kit ftw!

Yeah I thought about cefiros but oh well. I think I'm just going to get the 9004 components and just sell off the H4 bulbs/harness. 5th gens use a H4 setup don't they? I just might sell them over there
