can only dealer change/adjust tps?
My car is throwing tps code and I have new tps also. I have read this article http://vbxmaxima.8m.com/tps.html,
but I am still unable to change TPS, becose one of the bolt is stuck.
Today I went to a reputed mechanic hoping he would be able to change it, but he also couldn't open that bolt and suggested removal of throttle body to remove TPS, and gave me an appointment for Saturday.
Later he called me and told me that this TPS needs to be adjusted with some nissan scannner which only dealers carry. basically I have to go to Dealer only.
Just want to confirm with you guys, if I must go to dealer to change tps?
and does any one have any trick to open other side of tps without removing throttle body, plz let me know.
Thanks

I would not take it to the dealership, maby thats just me. I would take off the throtle body myself, swap the tps but leave the back screw loose, and tighten the front one (the one you can get to), put it back togeather, do your checks, get it where you need it , tighten the front one again, pull throtle body back off tighten your screws, and put it all back togeather.
