I've done the search. HELP!!!

I have a 99 GLE with 121,000 miles on it.
I'm having an issue with side to side movement coming from the front end.
When starting from a stop the car will shift from side to side and the steering wheel will start to turn to the left at a pretty good rate.
At highway speeds a have very bad vibrations and the car pulls to the left.
When I turn the wheel from a hard over I hear a shift in the front end on the driver side.

I was just wondering if I might be able to get some incite on this issue that I'm having.

I have purchased new lower control arm bushings from energy but have not put them in yet. I don't want to get into the repair and find that I need something else.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Check your alignment, tire balance, and pressure. Also check your tirods.

I have had the alingment done about 4 months ago. I checked for end play and there is none. The tires are new and I also swapped from my 89 max to see if that was the issue and it was not. Tire pressure is good.

Did you check your tie rods? How is the actual suspension quality now?

I did check the tierods when I swapped out the rims and tires from my 89 and they seamed to be good. The suspension might be the stock suspension as I'm not the original owner.

Ball joint, have that looked at. May be dangerous.

Check also your swaybar end links. Balljoints from Nissan are serviced with the control arm. You can get just balljoints from auto parts stores, but do keep in mind there are control arm bushings too that can wear out and cause some play.

Could a warped rotor cause this as well?
